Let's go fly a ... Drone
Today, we're playing with things that fly! The November edition of our free public science workshops, Barcelona Fun Science Meetup, was all about Drones & Flight.
With loads of hands-on experiments and games, we learnt all about what a multicopter (drone) is, how they work, and what it feels like to fly one. We also made a bucketload of paper airplanes, got up-close-and-personal with the inside of a drones, and had a go at crafting our very own mini-helicopters to play with the key principles behind how flying things can use rotors to get up in the air (and how they stay there!).
It was fab to see so many of you there, both our familiar faces and new :-) We're already excited about our December event and *TOP SECRET* Christmas Party coming soon too...watch this space!
